When smallest particles can impair production processes, research results, or product quality, controlled cleanroom conditions are indispensable. To ensure reliable energy and signal supply to the machines and systems used therein, icotek develops certified cable entry systems and cable management solutions for cleanroom technology in medicine, microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, and aerospace.

Cleanroom classes are classified according to ISO 14644-1 based on the permissible particle concentration per cubic meter of air. ISO 1 sets the strictest requirements. The icotek cable entry systems, tested and certified by the Fraunhofer IPA, are suitable for use in cleanroom class ISO 1. Their particle emission has been tested and certified accordingly. The systems enable a safe, waterproof, dustproof, and easy-to-install entry of cables, hoses, and pre-assembled cables into systems with high requirements for particle cleanliness, tightness, and operational safety.

Easy installation, reliable sealing

Dividable cable entry systems from icotek allow pre-assembled cables with power, signal, or sensor connectors to be fed in without disconnecting the cables or dismantling the connectors. Depending on the version, the systems achieve protection ratings up to IP66/IP68 and UL Type 4X. At the same time, they provide a compliant strain relief according to EN 62444. Cables without connectors and hoses can also be routed through membrane panels with cable entry plates and reliably sealed.
