Hygiene components from NovoNox are trade fair highlights of 2017

The innovative stainless steel components from NovoNox KG were the highlight of the trade fairs drinktec and PowTech this year 2017. The focus of the presentations was on newly developed control and machine elements designed to meet the highest hygiene standards, and this with resounding success.

With a broad range of high-quality stainless steel products in the Hygienic USIT® variants as well as a variety of other components according to Hygienic Design, NovoNox KG, based in Markgröningen, offers a novelty in process technology. At this year's drinktec in Munich and PowTech in Nuremberg, the current safety systems for use in hygiene-sensitive companies were thoroughly presented and received particularly strong feedback.

Patented Hygiene Components

Jürgen Leuze, head of the NovoNox business division, explained at the well-attended trade fair stand the numerous advantages of the newly developed and patented hygiene components. Among other things, the high-quality adjustable foot according to Hygienic USIT® was showcased. Key features of this innovation include FDA-compliant elements made from stainless steel 1.4404, such as the footplate and the threaded spindle, including rubber pad and gasket made from EPDM. Elements like an adjustment sleeve to protect the thread and the O-ring inside the sleeve reliably prevent dirt ingress. The integrated EPDM seal between the threaded and foot spindle guarantees absolute tightness. Fully rounded shapes also facilitate particularly easy cleaning.

In the Fight Against Particles and Germs

In addition, the newly designed hexagon screw with flange was a focal point. Equipped with the Hygienic USIT® sealing and washer from Freudenberg Sealing Technologies and made from highly polished stainless steel 1.4404, it ensures a dead-space-free seal and pure safety. “With the new system and the extensions to screw head variants with high head, ball head, low head, and ball head with safety drive, even more individual customer wishes can be realized,” explained sales team leader Isa Tauber at the trade fairs. “This allows users to be even better protected against germs and particles in the future and to be on the especially safe side in hygiene-sensitive manufacturing areas.”

Special tools from NovoNox KG, also presented, protect connection elements with sensitive surfaces. Damage and scratching of sensitive surfaces of connection elements can thus be reliably avoided. The products, developed with the utmost care for use in hygiene-sensitive manufacturing areas, offer an outstanding safety mechanism to prevent contamination with germs and particles right from the start. For companies with cleanliness-critical production areas, the offered safety features and significant time savings provide great added value.

Extremely Positive Trade Fair Summary

The large number of visitors and interesting technical discussions around the optimal protection of NovoNox components demonstrate how demand for products in the control and machine parts sector is increasing, leading to entirely new application possibilities in hygiene-sensitive production processes. Positive trade fair conclusion: NovoNox KG was able to establish promising business contacts, acquire new customers, and establish close international connections – including with Australian and New Zealand companies. Deepening of existing contacts with EHEDG was also achieved at the fairs. “The successful trade events drinktec and PowTec have contributed to NovoNox ending 2017 as an extremely successful business year,” says division manager Jürgen Leuze. “This result motivates us to continue developing high-quality safety systems in the future.”
