Hydrogen Peroxide Probe HPP272 and Insight PC Software for the Indigo product family from Vaisala now available

Along with the first deliveries of its intelligent 3-in-1 measurement probe PEROXCAP® HPP272, Vaisala announces the availability of the new Insight PC software for the Indigo product family. The new Vaisala Insight PC software supports convenient setup, diagnostics, and on-site calibration of the Indigo-compatible HPP272 and GMP250 series, as well as all future intelligent probes of the Indigo product family.

Vaisala is rapidly expanding its Indigo family. Two new products are now commercially available. The new Vaisala Insight PC software is available for free download, while the Vaisala PEROXCAP® HPP272 is being delivered to initial customers for measurements of vaporized hydrogen peroxide, humidity, and temperature. The probe is already in use with numerous pilot customers in Germany.

Hydrogen peroxide is extensively used in biodecontamination and sterilization of rooms, facilities, and equipment in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, for example, for cleaning isolation rooms and treatment chambers. To measure the hydrogen peroxide concentration, the probe uses Vaisala's newly developed PEROXCAP® sensor. This is based on the HUMICAP® sensor for measuring relative humidity, known for its accuracy, repeatability, and stability – properties now also available for hydrogen peroxide measurement. The Indigo series probe is particularly low-maintenance due to its robust design and should only be calibrated once a year.

Indigo is currently the most comfortable and user-friendly product concept for measuring devices on the market. The product family includes intelligent exchangeable measurement probes, an Indigo measurement transmitter, and now also the PC software. The key features are the intuitive user interface and on-site calibration, as well as high user-friendliness, exchangeable probes, and purchasing options.

The Vaisala Insight PC software is available in English and Japanese and runs on 64-bit versions of Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
