The Hydroflex Performance Line elevates cleanroom cleaning and disinfection to a completely new level.
Why so much practical value is built into the new Performance Line
Human factor: Cleanroom cleaning has always been performed manually by cleaning staff. An extremely challenging activity. It involves paying attention to many steps and details, avoiding errors, correctly mixing liquids, donning and doffing mops without hand contact, and adhering to contact times.
Therefore, it is all the more important to make cleaning as simple and safe as possible for the user, to support and relieve them. In short, to give the user more power for strong, yet faster performance. What should a product look like that accomplishes this? The PurMop® BLACK Performance Line is the answer. Because it consistently focuses on the user. Based on this, groundbreaking product ideas have emerged at Hydroflex.
PurMop® BLACK: Turning a vision into reality
Having good ideas is one thing. Implementing them is another, much more demanding task. It requires new approaches, new manufacturing processes, new technologies, new materials. In other words: it requires higher tech. It's fortunate that Hydroflex can also draw on experience from milestones already achieved, without copying them 1:1. Instead, for example, by integrating proven concepts for ergonomics, touchless operation, and permanent cleanroom suitability into the new development.
New material changes cleanroom cleaning
To elevate user experience and ergonomics to a new level, a new material was needed. A material used for the first time in cleanroom cleaning, proven in areas with the highest demands such as motorsport and aerospace — carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), widely known as carbon. This high-tech composite material consists of carbon fibers and a matrix made of special resin systems or thermoplastics. CFRP is unique. Like no other material, it offers an unparalleled synthesis of enormous stiffness and strength, very low weight, and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. CFRP guarantees maximum efficiency through lightness: compared to steel, its density is reduced by 80%, and compared to aluminum, by 43%. Due to its many advantageous properties, CFRP seemed ideal for the requirements Hydroflex set for a forward-looking cleanroom cleaning system. Intensive basic research and corresponding development time confirmed this assumption. Thus, a technically mature, highly specialized solution for professional cleanroom cleaning was created.
What perspectives this offers for users
CFRP can replace stainless steel in almost all relevant aspects and offers significant advantages in weight and ergonomics due to its properties and the specially developed composite design by Hydroflex. The lightness of the fiber-reinforced material greatly optimizes application and leads to a significant reduction in work effort. Additionally, faster and safer work is enabled — application and health risks are reduced. At the same time, the aesthetically designed PurMop® BLACK products ensure higher functionality and significantly easier handling of the cleaning equipment, thanks to some groundbreaking innovations. An equally important point: the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the innovative product line. It is no exaggeration to say that the Performance Line allows for faster, more powerful, and more economical cleaning. This further milestone especially supports the people who matter most in cleanroom cleaning: the users who work day after day to ensure that cleanrooms remain cleanrooms.
