The new humidity and temperature sensor HMT370EX from the Vaisala series is the ideal solution for use in hazardous areas.

The intrinsically safe and robust sensor operates safely and reliably even in Zone 0. The HMT370EX of the new generation can be used as a replacement for older devices of the HMT360 series.

In addition to relative humidity and temperature, the sensor also provides other humidity parameters: dew point temperature, wet-bulb temperature, absolute humidity, mixing ratio, water concentration, water mass fraction, water vapor pressure, and enthalpy. Additionally, special models are available for measuring humidity in oil and kerosene.

Typical applications include industrial fuel storage; manufacturing of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food; biogas production, paint booths, and other industries or processes where intrinsically safe measurement of humidity or humidity in oil is required.

Various probes for different applications offer maximum flexibility. The probes are also easy to replace and can be calibrated outside the hazardous area, ensuring your measurement data continues to be recorded flawlessly.

Configuration, measurement calibration, and adjustment can be performed directly via the local display interface. Additional options are available by connecting the sensor to Vaisala PC software Insight via USB.
