Highly available building system technology in the focus of three experts
Informative lectures, numerous insights into and out of the pharmaceutical industry, as well as a special framework program, were offered by the recently held trade conference at the Frankfurt-Höchst industrial park. Under the motto “Highly available building system technology - smart solutions from practice,” the organizers provided visitors with a particularly practical and solution-oriented program.
More than 100 guests accepted the invitation of the three organizers Infraserv GmbH & Co. Höchst KG, Janitza electronics GmbH, and Neuberger Building Automation GmbH and gathered on September 24th at the event in the chemical and pharmaceutical hub in southern Frankfurt.
With Infraserv Höchst as the operator of technically demanding infrastructures and partner primarily for companies in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, Janitza as a provider of complete solutions in the field of network monitoring and analysis, as well as Neuberger as a highly qualified provider of products and solutions for building and room automation and an energy monitoring system, the three organizers hosted the event for the first time. The successful combination of the three organizers ensured an interesting mix of engaging lectures, industry-specific insights, and practical product solutions.
In the auditorium of the Peter Behrens Building, after a brief welcome, Michael Pfob (System Coordinator Building Automation) from Neuberger opened the lecture series. In his presentation on “Energy efficiency measures in office and laboratory areas,” Pfob illustrated numerous energy-saving possibilities that can be implemented with Neuberger's self-developed room automation system Open Room. Hannes Fröhlich (Business Development Manager) from Janitza then followed with his talk “Standard-compliant use of energy measurement technology,” in which he demonstrated among other things energy measurement techniques to prevent voltage quality issues to the audience.
For a seamless transition between topics, Andreas Goeres (Head of Building Automation, Electrical Engineering, and Event IT, Infraserv Höchst) took the stage. He picked up on the topic of energy measurement technology from his predecessor Fröhlich and showed, through case examples, how energy consumption in buildings can be monitored and optimized. Just before the lunch break, Tobias Platzöder (Software Development, Neuberger) presented “Energy Management System based on live data,” discussing the energy management system ProEnergie. Platzöder demonstrated the various monitoring, visualization, and evaluation capabilities of the self-developed software to the interested professional audience. Additionally, he showcased a recently successfully implemented project by Neuberger, highlighting the comprehensive solutions and energy optimization possibilities of the software.
Gerald Fritzen (Key Account Manager Data Centers) from Janitza opened the second half of the event after a lunch break. With his presentation “High availability through differential current monitoring (RCM),” Fritzen first illustrated the planning of an RCM monitoring system. He also provided practical examples, showing illustrated installation examples of differential current monitoring across various systems. Markus Blankenberg (Senior Project Engineer) from Infraserv Höchst concluded the series of lectures with his presentation. He presented the various systems at the management level using application-related examples to the audience.
The subsequent panel discussion was well received by the guests. Moderated by Andreas Goeres, the speakers answered questions from visitors. The day’s event was rounded off either with a power plant tour or a guided bus tour through the Höchst industrial park. In the innovation forum of the three organizers, also set up in the rooms of the former technical administration building of Höchst AG, some technical discussions took place, and the day was concluded together.
“We were naturally very pleased with the strong turnout and numerous registrations in advance of the event,” said Klaus Lenkner, Managing Director of Neuberger. “This shows that we hit the nerve and thus the interest of our target group both with the topics and with the organizer constellation,” Lenkner continued happily. “With the event, we as the organizer trio were able to give all participants a detailed insight with many examples and practical solutions. This was particularly important to us because the smooth interplay of infrastructure, building and room automation, as well as energy measurement and management capabilities, is increasingly coming into focus on the market,” concluded Lenkner.
The goal of the now well-established trade conferences at Neuberger is to provide customers and interested parties with a platform for information and knowledge exchange. Additionally, the events serve to intensify and deepen customer relationships.
The overall positive feedback suggests that the series of events will be continued next year.
