The name says it all: CleanAir Chemical 2F ensures clean air and is a high-quality, certified blower respiratory protection unit that can be used across industries and universally — everywhere reliable respiratory protection is relevant at the workplace. The experts at TS-Plus present the innovation as an advanced solution to the previous standard models available on the market.

With the blower unit "CleanAir Chemical 2F," the Leverkusen-based specialist for chemicals and respiratory protection, TS-Plus GmbH, responds to the increasing demand for a high-quality, universally applicable respiratory protection system. "The market has changed significantly in the past year and a half," explains Dr. Norbert Jahn, Managing Director of TS-Plus. "Our innovative and further developed blower unit is suitable for numerous applications and belongs to the new generation of protective equipment. We are responding to the growing demand in many industries. The ATEX-certified version of Chemical 2F, for use in explosive atmospheres, is in the certification process and will be completed shortly."

Protection against hazardous substances is a top priority in many production and industrial sectors to preserve employees' health and minimize the risk of accidents. When handling chemicals, asbestos fibers, metals, or other health-affecting particles, uncompromising protection is needed to safeguard the respiratory system from stress.

The housing of the CleanAir devices is protected against water jets and dust-tight according to IP65 and made from durable, chemical- and UV-resistant plastic.

Awarded the Product Innovation Award at Expo Protection, the CleanAir systems feature a unique automatic locking system on the filter mounts. A special valve prevents contamination of the interior of the housing even during filter changes.

A flow control system ensures a constant airflow. The airflow mode can be adjusted depending on the selected headgear and filter, allowing the user to tailor the airflow intensity to the activity. "This provides more comfort at work, which can vary depending on the environment and physical exertion," explains Dr. Jahn. Additional features include a lithium-ion battery that can be replaced without tools, with a runtime of up to 10 hours, and a low total weight of 960 grams, reducing strain on the wearer.

"Besides these product features, the visual and acoustic warning system with various countdown levels and alarm options is particularly important for employee safety, and can be accessed via the color TFT display," emphasizes Dr. Jahn.

All innovative product features are especially relevant because the device is used in areas of chemical production, heavy industry, pharmaceutical industry, asbestos disposal, etc., where work is carried out under challenging conditions.
