High-quality biocidal formulations for the paint and coating industry

Vink Chemicals provides on-site support for biocide customers in the MENA region.

Vink Chemicals is a specialist for biocides in the coating sector. The company develops and produces its formulations exclusively in Germany. Customers from the paint and lacquer industry in the MENA region are directly supported on-site in Dubai by the expert Chief Vijay Nair (United Arab Emirates).

A focus of Vink Chemicals is the formulation of biocides based on isothiazolinones. These substances are among the few preservatives that can be used against a wide range of harmful organisms. Furthermore, they can be combined with each other – thus preventing bacteria from developing resistance to the biocides.

For pot and film preservation in the paint and lacquer industry, Vink has developed active ingredients based on isothiazolinones, such as CIT/MIT, MIT, and BIT, which are highly effective even at low concentrations. The biocide professionals offer additional formulations for film preservation as well as suitable application-specific chemical additives.

In addition to these products, the range of biocide formulations has been expanded through the acquisition of the technical biocide sector and the oil and gas additives division from Schülke (product development, regulation, sales).

The former brands PARMETOL, GROTANOL, and GROTAMAR from Schülke have been part of Vink Chemicals' product portfolio since September 2019.
