The treatment of process or wastewater with conventional evaporator systems has so far been an expensive process, accompanied by long downtimes and frequent repairs. The distillate quality often needs to be reprocessed in conventional systems because a too high conductivity, BOD, or hydrocarbon content makes this necessary.
