Harro Höfliger expands management structure
Harro Höfliger sets the course for the future with two personnel decisions.
As of April 1, 2026, Timo Graf has taken over the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) as part of a succession plan. At the same time, the company is establishing the role of Chief Sales Officer (CSO) for the first time, which has also been filled by Marco Laackmann since April 1, 2026.
Timo Graf assumes overall technological responsibility from Peter Claußnitzer, who has shaped Harro Höfliger for over 35 years and has been CTO since 2006. Graf has been with the company for twelve years and most recently managed the Engineering and Technical Services division. In his new role, he will further develop the areas of technology and development with a focus on future viability and customer-specific added value.
Marco Laackmann will focus particularly on technology sales in the newly created CSO position, systematically explore market potentials, and strengthen the company's global sales organization. At the same time, he will relieve Thomas Weller, who previously handled this task in addition to his role as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Laackmann has been part of Harro Höfliger for 15 years. Most recently, he led the technology sales of the Pharmaceutical Technologies division. The Pharma Services division, which supports process development for pharmaceutical products, will continue to be managed by Laackmann.
"We are deliberately further developing the leadership structure at Harro Höfliger. With the new CSO role, we strengthen the integration of sales, market, and customers across all market segments," says Markus Höfliger, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Harro Höfliger.
"At the same time, with the change in technology responsibility, we are ensuring a stable transition and continuity in a central area for process solutions and mechanical engineering. I sincerely thank Peter Claußnitzer for his many years of commitment as CTO. He has led the technology area with exceptional expertise and foresight and has significantly contributed to the successful development of our company."
