A special recognition: At the CMO Leadership Awards 2019, Vetter was honored in all six main categories, namely Quality, Expertise, Reliability, Capacity, Compatibility, and Service. The award is presented annually by Life Science Leader, one of the leading industry trade magazines. The ceremonial award ceremony took place on March 20th in New York. The winners were not determined through a typical application process like other awards, but rather by customers who rated their experiences working with manufacturing partners. Therefore, the awards represent a high level of performance achieved by the service providers in collaboration with their clients from the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

This year marks the eighth time the CMO Leadership Awards have been presented. To determine the winners, the magazine Life Science Leader collaborates with the market research institute Industry Standard Research (ISR). In the study "Contract Manufacturing Quality Benchmarking," more than 120 pharmaceutical service providers were evaluated based on 23 performance metrics. Representatives from pharma and biotech companies of all sizes were recruited, who were actively involved in decision-making processes for projects with contract manufacturers. The respondents only evaluated companies with which they had worked on a specific project within the past 18 months. This ensures that the survey results are based on real-world experiences.
