GMP Cleanroom Monitoring in Compact Design

PMT introduces an innovative concept with an open software structure and modular design through the FMSnode® system. Optimized for integration of cleanroom sensors, temperature monitoring in cooling units, and particle counters, the FMSnode® system is open to any conceivable sensor (TCP/IP Ethernet protocols, Power over Ethernet connection, Modbus protocols, OPC connection, 4-20 mA analog interfaces). As a result of this open concept, particle counters of all brands can be connected to FMSnode®.

First-generation cleanroom monitoring systems were often large control cabinet setups with an unclear internal structure and correspondingly complex qualification processes. The highly compact design of the FMSnode® systems sets standards in structuring and ends the need for excessive space for monitoring. Especially for more complex monitoring tasks, a compact and clean structure can be achieved by using standardized and industrially proven functional modules.

Maximum stability in long-term operation is achieved through the use of high-quality electronic modules, which have proven their suitability in thousands of industrial control tasks. The time-critical monitoring core runs on an industrial computer with extended process specifications.

The monitoring software core is based on the FMS 5.0 software. In this configuration, GMP-relevant monitoring measurement results are collected in a tamper-proof SQL database. To increase data recording redundancy, the SQL result database can be mirrored on external servers. This monitoring core can optionally be installed on a parallel running computer and automatically takes over in case of hardware problems with the primary machine.

In some application-specific basic configurations, the FMSnode® systems can even be delivered turnkey and pre-qualified from the factory. Customer-specific system extensions are just as possible as expanding the FMSnode® concept in large systems.
