Gloves for the protection of humans and products are indispensable in many areas, such as the semiconductor industry and also among doctors and clinics. The requirements vary greatly depending on the application: good tactile sensitivity, grip, heat resistance, and much more. While in the chemical industry chemical resistance and in the electronic industry ESD suitability are the main focus, in the medical field disposable gloves made of latex, nitrile, or vinyl are more commonly used.

Where static charges need to be avoided, gloves with anti-static features are used. This is the case, for example, in printed circuit board manufacturing, component production, or in the manufacture of magnetic storage disks and CDs. Nylon gloves with copper or carbon for grounding are available as options — also with PU-coated inner surfaces or PU-coated fingertips.

Alternatively, there are three models made of polyester with carbon for grounding. These are available uncoated, with PU-coated inner surfaces, or with PVC bumps on the inner side of the hand.
