Getinge sets new standards with the Aquadis Endo 110 in automated endoscope reprocessing

Getinge announces the launch of the Aquadis Endo 110 – the next generation of automated endoscope reprocessing. The system has been developed to increase reprocessing capacity, simplify workflows, and improve safety for patients and medical staff. Building on decades of experience in infection prevention and sterilization, the Aquadis Endo 110 sets new standards for fast, reliable cleaning and high-level disinfection of flexible endoscopes. This helps to reduce the risk of nosocomial infections.

As the number of endoscopic procedures continues to rise, endoscopy departments face increasing operational challenges. The Aquadis Endo 110 meets these demands with up to 36 percent higher reprocessing capacity compared to previous models. With a standard cycle time of only 20 minutes and automated channel connections, the system enables faster availability of endoscopes while ensuring validated cleaning and high-level disinfection.

“Endoscopy departments are increasingly under pressure to ensure consistent and validated reprocessing of endoscopes while also guaranteeing a safe and timely procedure schedule,” says Stéphane Le Roy, President Surgical Workflows at Getinge. “The Aquadis Endo 110 was developed to enable reliable and fully traceable reprocessing. It helps our customers maintain control, consistency, and safety even in demanding daily operations.”

For smooth daily operation, the Aquadis Endo 110 combines an ergonomic, error-proof loading concept with an intuitive user interface. The integrated RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification) automates program selection and ensures seamless traceability of each reprocessing cycle. Connected to Getinge solutions FleetView and T-DOC Endo, important information is available in real time, enabling more efficient workflow management.

To further optimize performance, Getinge has developed highly concentrated XEN cleaning and disinfectant agents specifically for use with the Aquadis Endo 110. These enable shorter cycle times and reduced water consumption, helping hospitals use resources efficiently and achieve their sustainability goals.

“Every patient has the right to a properly cleaned and disinfected endoscope,” says Don Socha, Segment & Product Line Manager, Endoscopy at Getinge. “The Aquadis Endo 110 helps ensure this while reducing complexity for hospital staff. The validated reprocessing process and independent monitoring system strengthen confidence in each individual treatment.”
