Representatives from national and international pharmaceutical companies, experts, and authorities will exchange ideas on how to design cleanrooms safely, healthily, efficiently, and innovatively.

In an intensive dialogue, experiences will be shared, and newly gained insights from industry and research will be discussed.

The following topics will be highlighted, among others:

- Reducing costs – Increasing efficiency
- Qualification: Control and documentation – What to do in case of deviations?
- Cleanroom design & architecture: Design and functionality do not exclude each other
- Best-practice examples from various industries
- Experience reports from Baxalta, Fresenius Kabi, Octapharma, and Takeda

As a special guest, the cleanroom expert Dr. Lothar Gail (International Society for Cleanroom Technology) is expected.

The joint opening plenary session with the specialist conferences "Biosimilars" and "In the fight against nosocomial infections" will start on March 15, 2016, at 09:35 am with a keynote on the topic "Ecosystem Cleanroom". Following this, there will be a discussion on "Pharmaceutical innovations – What do patients actually need?"

The "Cleanrooms" conference begins on the first day at 11:00 am with technical presentations and experience reports on the topics: "The safety of cleanroom staff" and "Qualification-relevant: Control and documentation in the cleanroom" and "Industry 4.0: Digital systems for cleanroom technology".

The first day ends at 6:10 pm with a get-together event.

On the second day of the conference, there will be keynote speeches and experience reports from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on the topics: "Cleanroom design: Design and functionality do not exclude each other", "Experiences with cleanroom technology in other industries", and "Cleanroom architecture: Moving towards greater efficiency".
