The Photometer PF-3 COD enables rapid and reproducible quantitative analyses of chemical oxygen demand using the NANOCOLOR® CSB cuvette tests in areas such as environmental analysis, water testing, chemistry, or quality control.
The compact and lightweight photometer from MACHEREY-NAGEL is shockproof, as well as dust- and waterproof according to IP 68, and can be operated independently of external power sources using batteries. It is therefore ideal for analysis not only in the laboratory but also on-site.
The PF-3 COD photometer is very user-friendly to operate thanks to the illuminated graphic display and an intuitive, icon-based menu system. Measurements are carried out at three predefined wavelengths of 365, 450, and 595 nm with a wavelength accuracy of ±2 nm. The measurement data from 50 measurements are easily retrievable and stored. A particularly practical detail: the optics are insensitive to ambient light and allow quick measurements without covering the cuvette slot. The single cuvette holder with a diameter of 16 mm fits optimally with the NANOCOLOR® round cuvettes. The PF-3 COD photometer, in combination with NANOCOLOR® round cuvette tests, enables seamless determination of CSB/COD from 2 to 60,000 mg per liter.
A mini-USB interface is used for data export and can be used in the laboratory for power supply. Dimensions are L 170 x W 95 x H 68 mm, with a weight of 0.5 kg. Delivery includes a certificate and batteries. The NANOCOLOR® test systems must be ordered separately.
