For a good stand
Machine feet, joint feet, leveling feet, corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and elegant shapes: The range of leveling feet in the Ganter portfolio is extensive. And it continues to grow because the requirements are only seemingly trivial at first glance.
No question: The leveling foot is hardly the focus of an engineer at the beginning of a design process. Yet, hardly any construction can do without leveling feet, on which the entire load rests. So what must a leveling foot offer to withstand the tough industrial environment?
First and foremost, stability, the secure support of all loads, precise adjustability, and durability. And finally, it should also visually reflect all these qualities.
The latter aspect is particularly addressed by the newly added leveling foot GN 21 in the Ganter range. It is made entirely of stainless steel, with its disc machined from solid material, showing a noble surface. With mounting holes in the disc, the leveling foot is designated GN 23.
For the leveling feet GN 445 / GN 445.5, the spindle runs in a ball and is movably supported in the foot – allowing easy compensation of inclination differences between the ground and the machine. The mounting surface is a teardrop-shaped foot made of fiber-reinforced polyamide, with two holes prepared for fixing the leveling foot, which only need to be drilled through. The spindles are available either made of steel or stainless steel.
Also new are the colloquially called "duck feet" GN 42 and GN 43. The quirky name is due to the semi-circular, semi-rectangular tab shape. These versatile leveling feet feature tolerance-friendly long holes, and ribs increase the stiffness of the tab under heavy loads. Depending on the standard, galvanized steel or stainless steel grade A2 is used; optionally, a vulcanized rubber layer can be applied to the underside of the tabs.
For applications in highly corrosive environments, the two feet GN 44 and GN 45 are designed, made from A4 stainless steel grade 1.4404. They either have a teardrop-shaped mounting surface with a mounting hole or use the proven round disc shape; both variants are also optionally equipped with rubber pads.
This further expands Ganter's range of leveling feet with special elements – the variety ultimately leaves little to be desired. In addition to different disc shapes, the spindles are available with and without lock nuts, with adjusting sleeves to cover the thread, various drive types, or with internal threads – all in different material qualities.
