Flexible-use differential pressure transmitters for building technology

The sensor manufacturer Setra Systems is one of the leading producers of capacitive differential pressure transmitters in the HVAC sector. The MRX family offers a series of models that are virtually unmatched in terms of versatility and flexibility.

The models feature up to 8 switchable, uni- and bidirectional pressure ranges between 25 and 2,500 Pa. The output signal can be set to 0 ... 5 V, 0 ... 10 V, or 4 ... 20 mA. The pressure transmitters offer an accuracy of 1% FS, with the MRC model achieving even 0.5% FS. The selection of the measurement range and output signals is made via switch or jumper. The measured pressure is additionally displayed on a 4-digit LCD in freely selectable units. Installation can be surface-mounted or mounted in the control cabinet on a DIN rail. After installation, a simple zero point calibration using a push button is guaranteed.

Thanks to its high flexibility, this series of models is used in the HVAC sector, building technology, laboratory and cleanroom monitoring, as well as in various other applications where reliable measurement of very small pressures is essential.
