Users of industrial cleaning technology face new and changing tasks due to current developments and regulatory requirements, which demand extensive technical and application-specific cleaning expertise. The Professional Association for Industrial Part Cleaning (FiT) e.V. offers an interdisciplinary initial consultation on this year's parts2clean (Hall 4, Stand C 01/B 01). Recommendations for action, as well as qualification and further training, are among the other topics that will be presented at the FiT stand – the Component Cleaning Navigator – information booth.

Trends such as the transformation in the automotive and supplier industries, automation and digitization of manufacturing, and improved energy efficiency to meet climate protection goals, pose new challenges for many users of industrial cleaning technology. Regulatory requirements in various industries such as chemicals and medical technology also necessitate adapted standards in component cleaning.

The Component Cleaning Navigator advises and supports

For these demanding tasks, the Professional Association for Industrial Part Cleaning (FiT) e.V. offers support at this year's parts2clean from October 5 to 7 in Hall 4, Stand C 01/B 01 through foundational knowledge and recommendations for action. Additionally, visitors can receive interdisciplinary initial consulting at the stand – regardless of whether the tasks involve pre-, intermediate-, final-, or assembly-integrated cleaning. These recommendations provide guidance on which cleaning procedures, process technologies, and media can reliably and economically accomplish the respective cleaning task, as well as which companies offer suitable solutions. Users can conduct targeted and efficient in-depth discussions with various providers based on this information. The "QSREIN 4.0" area showcases the development of innovative, practical, and beneficial Industry 4.0 solutions for cleaning technology.

Expert knowledge for process optimization

A visit to the Component Cleaning Navigator stand is also worthwhile from the perspective of general information gathering and knowledge generation. The various insights developed by experts from the FiT specialist committees contribute to a better understanding of sustainable design and optimization of cleaning processes. Publications available in German and English include, for example, the checklist "Planning a Cleaning Process – Equipment, Procedures, Chemistry, and Peripheral Devices" and the "Guidelines for Quality-Assured Process Control in Industrial Component Cleaning." Additionally, the bilingual (German-English) and recently revised edition of the guideline "Mastering Film Contaminations" will be presented. This topic is gaining increasing importance in light of changing manufacturing and bonding processes, as well as high cleanliness requirements regarding film contamination in the coating industry.

The Expert Network for Qualification and Continuing Education

Stricter cleanliness specifications, more complex cleaning processes, and the demand for high economic efficiency also require well-trained personnel in this manufacturing sector. Therefore, training, qualification, and further education in industrial component cleaning are key topics for the association. One example is the basic seminar "Quality Assurance in Component Cleaning," scheduled for December 1 and 2, 2021. The 30th Technical Conference "Industrial Component Cleaning" from March 31 to April 1, 2022, combines tradition and innovation: looking back and two steps forward. The focus of this anniversary event is on the development of cleaning technologies and procedures, as well as dialogue with cleaning experts from various fields and industries.
