Expansion of the emergency service for technical glass and touch input systems

Customer-specific technical glasses – installed in custom touch input systems including mechanical processing, surface technology, and design performance, all within 5, 10, or 15 working days.

This challenge is undertaken by Richard Wöhr GmbH in Höfen an der Enz. The already decades-old express service of the system supplier forms the basis for expanding this offering. A dedicated manufacturing area for technical glasses (Eltroglas®), including glass printing, as well as many years of experience as a complete supplier in the fields of mechanics, surface and system technology, and input solutions, enable this unique service in its current form. The products manufactured in the express service are usually produced under series conditions, allowing quick conclusions about a potential subsequent series. If purchased parts are planned, the availability of an express service depends on the supplier or component situation. Technical clarity is also a prerequisite. The offer includes, among other things, a selection of various technical glasses, with or without additional functions (anti-reflective, antimicrobial, anti-fingerprint, and many more). High inventory levels and short distances under one roof enable this customer service.

The glasses can be custom printed, cut, polished, and beveled. In the in-house cleanroom, touch sensors are laminated and, if necessary, optically bonded. With the help of Wöhr's system technology and mechanics, touch input systems are created in customer design for B2B or B2C sectors. Whether as an attractive point-of-sale, as a control system in machinery operation, or in medical environments, the versatile optical and functional possibilities reach various target groups.
