For its research and development work, the fan specialist ebm-papst has received the "Innovative through Research" quality seal from the Stifterverband for German Science for the third time after 2014 and 2016. Since 2014, the Stifterverband has been awarding this quality seal to companies in the field of research and development, recognizing their efforts as drivers of innovation. The award, valid for two years, honors companies "that demonstrate a special commitment to research and development," as stated by the association.

"The increasing demands of digitalization require us to continuously bring new innovations to market in this area as well, in order to further expand our technological leadership. We are therefore pleased that our high level of innovation activity has been honored once again with the 'Innovative through Research' quality seal," emphasizes Dr. Bruno Lindl, Group Managing Director for Research and Development at ebm-papst Group.

With its think tanks in Dortmund and Osnabrück, ebm-papst has already expanded its research activities in the areas of digitalization and the development of new business models. These "think tanks" are intended to continuously bring new innovations to market. Furthermore, ebm-papst cooperates with numerous universities and research institutions, such as Hochschule Heilbronn and the University of Stuttgart.
