Excellent performance – CLEAN! 2014

The purity technology production is regarded as a cross-industry core technology. A multitude of manufacturing steps for high-tech products such as semiconductor processors, artificial skin cell cultivation, manufacturing equipment for medical technology products, and in-vitro diagnostics systems are already today and in the future only feasible through purity technology. Here, cleanroom technology provides a fundamental prerequisite, but the industry, unlike hardly any other, depends on outstanding innovations and optimizations to meet the ever-increasing cleanliness specifications in production.

The industry thrives on its ideas, innovations, and developments, which are further promoted through the awarding of the Fraunhofer Cleanliness Technology Award "CLEAN!". Apply with your new applications or developments for a clean, pure, or ultra-pure manufacturing environment for "CLEAN! 2014"! An international, independent expert jury will evaluate the entries again this year and will award the first three winners, whose outstanding achievements will be presented on June 4th at the Cleanroom Lounge in Stuttgart.
