Nineteen ninety-nine: Everything new?

Yes and no. A small department of Testo SE & Co. KGaA, Testo CAL, is spun off and now stands on its own. Its mission: to offer calibration services throughout Germany, always aligned with customer needs. The plan succeeds; the calibration expertise already acquired at Testo is further developed innovatively with its own momentum. With commitment and expertise, we are increasingly supporting companies in their quality assurance measures. In 2003, Testo CAL becomes Testo Industrial Services GmbH, and from a handful of employees, we now have 1,300 employees across Europe. We are especially proud of our subsidiaries in Austria, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Poland, Hungary, and Switzerland. Today, we are a leading service provider for quality assurance and experts in calibration, test equipment management, qualification, and validation.

Core competencies: Calibration & GMP-compliance measures

Testo Industrial Services is a certified and accredited service provider for quality assurance. Our calibration laboratories are now accredited for more than 300 calibration procedures according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. For test equipment management in GMP-regulated areas, we developed a validated IT solution in 2021. We work GxP-compliant and audit-ready, and our on-site services have expanded over the years. We now qualify cleanrooms, equipment, systems, as well as storage and transport vehicles. Additionally, we offer cleaning, process, transport, computer, and software validations.

Over the past 25 years, we have also evolved as a team. We have grown, overcome challenges, and preserved our unique team spirit. Our customers know: each and every one of us is characterized by responsibility, motivation, and expertise. This ensures that all measurement tasks and quality assurance measures entrusted to us are fully completed.

More service, more safety – in the lab & on-site

Over the years, we have not only conducted countless measurements but also set standards – in precision, reliability, flexibility, and expertise. Our growth is aligned with our customers’ needs. In 2021, the Calibration Factory was opened at the Kirchzarten site near Freiburg. Over 4,200 square meters of usable space, new calibration laboratories, and around 200 new jobs are being created. Here, high-quality standards are further enhanced using state-of-the-art processes. On-site, in pharmaceutical and medical technology companies, 250 experts from our GxP services team currently support GMP compliance tasks. By comparison: in 2005, there were 25 employees.
