Enduring, dense, and secure
INOXLINE connectors from Eisele support optimal system safety
From June 11 to 15, 2018, Eisele will present its INOXLINE quick-connect fittings for optimal plant safety in process engineering, as well as in the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries at ACHEMA in Frankfurt am Main.
In addition to high tightness under over- and underpressure, the INOXLINE quick-connect fittings from the 17A series, made of stainless steel 1.4301/1.4307, impress with their easy-to-clean design and corrosion resistance. This material choice also ensures that the transported process media are not contaminated by material components or particles.
Top priority for absolute tightness
The special sealing technology of the 17A series, with two FKM (Viton) seals in the collet, can withstand both internal gas pressures up to 24 bar and vacuum down to -0.95 bar. Depending on the media used and connection sizes, pressures of up to 100 bar are possible for liquids. Many quick-connect fittings on the market are designed for high pressures but are not automatically suitable for vacuum applications. The quick-release sleeve of the fittings with an internal collet allows for quick assembly and disassembly of the hose. The second seal of the fittings not only enables operation at higher working pressures but also provides additional safety against dirt ingress into the system.
New: Program 17B – the optimized INOXLINE
In the latest development of the 17B series, Eisele has further optimized the sealing system of the successful INOXLINE quick-connect fittings. The O-ring is now mounted before the collet in the new design. This improves the tightness of the connection and prevents grooves from forming in the hose at the sealing point. Additionally, the new sealing system allows for easier assembly and disassembly of the hose at the connection. When combined with FDA-compliant Viton seals, the 17B series is recommended for a wide range of applications in process engineering, as well as in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
