Safety is of the utmost priority in Ex areas or cleanrooms, where the strictest legal requirements apply to operating equipment as well as transport vehicles. The German manufacturer and conveyor technology specialist EAP Lachnit offers electric pallet trucks in stainless steel design for these applications. These meet the special requirements for sensitive areas and are also characterized by high operational safety, low maintenance, and easy cleaning. Custom versions are also available upon request.

For the use of floor conveyors in the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, high legal standards apply. EAP Lachnit offers electric pallet trucks in stainless steel design for such areas. These are considered extremely robust and powerful. Thanks to their size and technical design, they are very well suited for transporting Euro pallets, big boxes, or multiple feed wagons.

An all-rounder is the hand pallet truck type "400 Quick E" with electric drive. This is built very robustly and suitable for continuous use. It transports up to 1,500 kilograms and lifts with a manual lift up to 205 millimeters. In the standard version, forks measuring 1150 x 540 millimeters are installed, suitable for Euro pallets, grid, and big boxes. Other fork lengths and widths are also available as options.

The electric drive allows stepless driving speed and supports the movement of heavy loads. The power for the drive is supplied by a durable, maintenance-free 20 Ah lithium-ion battery, which can be charged at any 230-volt socket using an integrated charger. In multi-shift operation, the portable battery can alternatively be easily and quickly swapped out.

Transport heavy loads easily

The electric pallet truck "411 K" is suitable for simple yet agile loading and unloading of goods. And when it comes to transporting heavy loads over longer distances, the powerful electric pallet truck "412 K" with a ride-on platform for the co-driver operation is recommended. It features a foldable ride-on platform and side safety arms. The construction of the electric pallet trucks is very robust. Entry and exit rollers ensure that pallets can be easily picked up.

An overload protection and a gentle lowering valve are standard features. The pallet truck also has high stability thanks to a central wheel drive with a bevel gear. It can easily overcome thresholds. Operation is via a safety steering tiller that contains all control and operation elements. The performance data are convincing for many applications: The load capacity is 2000 kilograms, and the lifting height is up to 205 millimeters (optional up to 300 millimeters). Thanks to the low turning radius of 1600 millimeters, the pallet truck can turn in the smallest circles. Custom versions are also available: For specific transport requirements, such as transporting barrels, EAP Lachnit offers the electric pallet truck "420 S". Another variant is available as a weighing pallet truck; with high-quality scales, optionally with radio connection and mobile printer, the transported goods can be weighed during transit.

Driving and lifting

The electric scissor lift truck type "405 E" combines two functions in one device. It transports goods as a powered pallet truck and lifts them up to 800 millimeters. At the same time, it can also be used as a lift table. The electric lifting device handles loads up to 800 kilograms. Its fork rollers and steering wheels made of polyamide enable quick progress.

Electric pallet trucks for sensitive areas

The electric pallet trucks comply with the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and are marked with the CE symbol. They are fully made of stainless steel grade 1.4301 / V2A / AISI 30, with polished surfaces that are easy to clean. All models meet protection class IP67. The fork rollers and steering wheels are made of polyamide. For use in sensitive areas, they are optionally available with the material 1.4571 / V4A / AISI 316, as well as steering and load rollers made of polyurethane. In a special configuration, they are also available for Ex zones (classification II 2 GD c) and as cleanroom versions.
