Eisele supplements the BASICLINE with lockable check valves

The lockable check valves allow flow in one direction, blocking it in the opposite direction.

As an ideal additional connection, Eisele offers a swivel connection in its range, which can be used not only for pneumatic control but also manually operated.

Eisele has added the program 25 of the BASICLINE to include lockable check valves for compressed air, which can be ideally used in combination with pneumatic cylinders. Made from nickel-plated brass, the components are suitable for a variety of applications, such as safety components in industry or in medical technology.

The new valves with lockable check function allow flow in one direction and block flow in the opposite direction. For example, this can prevent pneumatic cylinders from unintentionally venting during a pressure drop. Users can unlock the valves when needed by applying a defined pressure, thus forcibly venting the cylinders. The lockable check valve is designed for an operating pressure range of 1 to 10 bar and a temperature range of -10 to +70 °C. As an ideal connection supplement, Eisele offers a swivel connection, which can be used not only for pneumatic control but also manually operated.

Check valves of this type are used in industry as safety components—they help prevent injuries to people or damage to machines in the event of a sudden pressure drop. They also serve this purpose in medical technology—for example, in ambulance stretchers—or in lifting jacks in the construction industry. Not least, the components prove their worth in large kitchens: pots and pans are often pneumatically lifted with the help of a cylinder. The check valves prevent employees from suffering injuries or crushing during a pressure drop.

The lockable check valves complement Eisele's program 25, which includes hollow screws and swivel fittings with throttle or throttle check functions. Overall, the BASICLINE offers around 4,000 standardized connection components made from high-quality materials.
