EFA-SRT® EasyFit: The robust all-rounder

A high-speed rolling shutter door must meet several requirements. Enormous reliability, fast opening and closing speeds, and great adaptability to local conditions are offered by the EFA-SRT® EasyFit from market leader EFAFLEX in a complete package.

It is the latest development in the field of high-speed rolling shutter doors from EFAFLEX: The EFA-SRT® EasyFit enriches the extensive product portfolio. Because even upon delivery, it impresses with a special feature. "The EFA-SRT® EasyFit is packed in just one package and is already largely pre-assembled," explains Lukas Meyer, Head of Product Management at EFAFLEX. Specifically, this means that significantly less time needs to be allocated for the installation of the door due to already installed components and pre-laid cables.

Installation of multiple doors in one day possible

The assembly is surprisingly simple. "The complete door system, including foldable frames and the curtain box, can be transported to the desired position on the wall with a forklift and installed directly there," describes Meyer the installation process of the EFA-SRT® EasyFit. Thanks to the quick commissioning of a system, multiple doors can be installed in a single day without any issues.

Speaking of multiple doors: Due to the narrow frames, there is the option to mount two EFA-SRT® EasyFit doors directly next to each other. Additionally, the EFA-SRT® EasyFit can also be easily installed in tight spaces, as the door system is distinguished by its particular compactness.

Door light grid ensures safety

The available sizes of the EFA-SRT® EasyFit range from 750 millimeters to 4,000 millimeters in width and from 1,250 millimeters to 4,000 millimeters in height, so that the right door solution can be found for every need.

Regardless of all its compactness, the new door naturally also guarantees the highest safety standards, as is customary with EFAFLEX. "The EFA-SRT® EasyFit is standard equipped with a door light grid that contactlessly secures the entire door edge," Meyer describes the mechanism. He adds: "If the door light grid detects a person or obstacle in the closing plane, the closing of the door is immediately stopped, even before any contact occurs."

In addition, in the event of a power failure, there is the option of manual opening with a hand crank. The safety of people and machinery is thus fully guaranteed.

150,000 load cycles annually

In daily operation, the EFA-SRT® EasyFit impresses with tremendous robustness: it easily handles 150,000 load cycles per year, with a lifespan of up to ten years. The opening speed is 1.5 meters per second, and the door closes at speeds of up to 1.0 meter per second. The curtain is available in solid color transparent, with warning stripes, or with viewing windows.

Due to its already mentioned robustness, combined with enormous reliability, the EFA-SRT® EasyFit is extremely low-maintenance during regular operation and consequently has minimal downtime.
