ECOSPHERE Automation opens Experience Center

On March 23, 2023, ECOSPHERE® Automation opened its Experience Center (EXP). There, the Certified System Integrator (CSI) and UR+ Partner of Universal Robots showcases standardized, flexible cobot solutions. Around 100 guests, including partners, end customers, and interested parties, were surprised with a variety of automation solutions: approximately 15 cobots from Universal Robots were on display in operation. In the future, the EXP will serve as an exhibition space for UR+ Solutions, as a training center, and as a "Maker Space." On-site, interested visitors can try out and program standard solutions such as CNC loading or grinding of components themselves.

Easy Entry into Automation

"In recent years, we have noticed that more and more companies are interested in standardized solutions, but the barrier remains high," says CEO Danny Denk about the idea of creating the Experience Center. "With the new EXP, we want to show interested parties how easy it can be to get started with automation. This is exactly the approach we share with our partner Universal Robots."

ECOSPHERE is built on three pillars:

– The EXP aims to inspire and serves as an exhibition space for UR+ Solutions.

– The EXP demonstrates how a robot application works as an Advanced Robotic Training Center – from feasibility through implementation to CE certification.

– The EXP functions as a "Maker Space" for young entrepreneurs and those aspiring to become one. In collaboration with vocational, technical, and higher education institutions, solutions are to be developed here that go beyond traditional industrial solutions.

Modular System for Industrial Applications

Since its founding in 2019, ECOSPHERE® Automation has pursued the idea of a modular system. "As a CSI, we have since proven that the system can hold its own in an industrial environment," continues Denk. Numerous applications have made it possible to develop the system even faster than expected.

The opening of the Experience Center marks another milestone in the young company's history. Because through standardization of individual components, standard applications can now be equipped with the necessary flexibility and offered – end customers benefit from significantly simplified handling.

Web Platform for Support

Alongside the opening of the EXP, a new web platform is launched. This platform provides comprehensive support for users in integrating their own robotics solutions. From individual parts to services to complete solutions and training offers, a "one-stop shop" platform is created. This is very much in line with current trends, says Denk, because flexible standard solutions are also a focus of the partner Universal Robots, which already offers such solutions with UR+ Solutions.
