ebm-papst expands group management appointing Johannes Pfeffer as a new member

ebm-papst appoints Johannes Pfeffer as a new member of the group management.

Effective April 1, 2020, Johannes Pfeffer (52), previously Spokesperson for the Management Board of the subsidiary ebm-papst St. Georgen GmbH & Co. KG, will be appointed to the Management Board of the ebm-papst Group in Mulfingen.

In his new role, he will, among other things, lead and strategically develop various business areas of the technology specialist in fans and motors. With the appointment of Johannes Pfeffer, Raymond Engelbrecht will take over the leadership of ebm-papst St. Georgen alone.

Bio Johannes Pfeffer

Johannes Pfeffer studied physics at Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen. He began his professional career in 1994 at the IT and measurement technology specialist Hewlett Packard. From 1999 to 2009, the physics graduate with an MBA from Steinbeis University for Business Leadership in Stuttgart worked in various leadership positions at the automotive supplier Behr.

From 2009 to 2017, Johannes Pfeffer was responsible for the Automation & Control division as Managing Director of the American automation specialist Belden. From 2018, Pfeffer was the spokesperson for the management of ebm-papst St. Georgen and was responsible, among other things, for the company divisions of Drive Technology and Automotive as well as functionally for Sales, Business Field Development, Production, and Development.
