E-II stainless steel – the 100% corrosion-resistant and wash-down capable linear unit is recommended, among other things, for width, height, and length adjustments in packaging machines in the food industry.

RK Rose+Krieger introduces the new single-tube linear unit E-II-Stainless Steel initially in the standard sizes 30 and 40. The new axis will be available from the second quarter of 2018.

The single-tube linear unit E-II is a versatile solution for format adjustment. Just in time for Hannover Messe, RK Rose+Krieger has now brought the stainless steel version of the popular axis in sizes 30 and 40 to market readiness. The E-II-Stainless Steel is 100% corrosion-resistant and has an extended temperature range of -30 to +80 °C compared to standard units — with the possibility of further increase upon request. Since the new stainless steel axes also operate with food-safe, FDA-compliant lubricants and are wash-down capable, they are particularly suitable for width, height, and length adjustments in packaging machines for the food industry.

The new single-tube axes are equipped as standard with ball bearings for spindle support and a guide carriage with a sliding bushing. They will be available with right- or left-hand threads as well as both right- and left-hand threads. The variant with both right- and left-hand threads, where the carriages move towards each other, is especially suitable for format adjustments.
