Dr. Hannes Säubert becomes Managing Director at ebm-papst Landshut

ebm-papst appoints Dr. Hannes Säubert as the new Managing Director in Landshut.

Effective March 1, 2021, Mr. Dr. Hannes Säubert (49) assumes the management of ebm-papst Landshut GmbH, a subsidiary of the Mulfinger ebm-papst Group. With him, the technology leader in fans and motors gains an international leadership personality for the successful further development of the ebm-papst Landshut business unit.

Dr. Hannes Säubert brings extensive management and consulting experience in Europe and the USA. Most recently, he was active in the USA in top management at Alliance Laundry Systems, a specialist in commercial washing machines. Prior to that, he led North American operations for Kärcher and held staff and leadership positions at Hilti. Dr. Säubert began his professional career at the management consultancy Arthur D. Little.

As Managing Director, Dr. Hannes Säubert is responsible for ebm-papst Landshut GmbH, including the plants in Slovenia and Serbia as well as the development centers in Osnabrück and the Netherlands.

Bio of Dr. Hannes Säubert

Dr. Hannes Säubert studied technically oriented business administration at the University of Stuttgart and completed his MBA at Portland State University (USA) before earning his doctorate at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel in 2005. He began his professional career in 1998 at the international management consultancy Arthur D. Little in Wiesbaden. After being appointed partner there in 2008, Dr. Säubert moved to the construction technology group Hilti, initially working as Head of Corporate Development and later as General Manager of the "Energy & Industry" market organization in North America. From 2014 to 2017, he served as CEO for the USA operations and as Regional President for North America at Kärcher, a manufacturer of cleaning equipment and systems. Since 2018, Dr. Säubert has been leading the commercial North America business of Alliance Laundry Systems as Vice President, a global leader in commercial washing machines and dryers.
