The new hygienic design dosing devices from Three-Tec meet the highest standards of hygiene and product safety in the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries.

The requirements for cleanliness and safety in the pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetics industries are constantly increasing. Dosing devices come into direct contact with sensitive products and are therefore directly affected. The new dosing devices from Three-Tec ensure easy cleaning, minimized contamination risk, and high operational efficiency through their design.

A key feature of the new dosing devices is the hygienic compression seals at the external connection points of the dosing device, which are easily recognizable by their blue color. They prevent dead spaces and ensure a fully sealed design, thereby preventing the ingress of contaminants.

The well-thought-out design of the dosing devices allows for the assembly, disassembly, and cleaning of all product-contacting components in just a few steps and in the shortest possible time. The devices are completely made of stainless steel, ground and polished with surface roughness up to Ra 0.8 μm. The smooth and pore-free surfaces reduce the adhesion of product residues and can be easily and efficiently cleaned with a variety of liquids and solvents. Automated cleaning systems such as WIP (Wash-in-Place), CIP (Clean-in-Place), or SIP (Sterilize-in-Place) are available and significantly increase production efficiency. Even with frequent product changes, consistently high hygiene standards can be maintained.

All plastic parts and seals that come into contact with the product used in our devices meet the requirements of EC 1935/2004 and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA, USP class VI) and guarantee food safety. The fats and lubricants used are NSF-H1 certified. The manufacturing of the devices complies with GMP guidelines, including IQ, OQ, and PQ if desired.

Three-Tec's flat-bottom dosing devices guarantee precise dosing of well-flowing to poorly flowing, very light, moist, or bridging powders with flowabilities of ffc 1 - 5 and are equipped with easily interchangeable dosing tools. Various dosing tools such as full-blade, concave, or spiral screws facilitate adaptation to the product to be dosed. The high dosing accuracy ensures consistently high product quality, while the robust construction from high-quality materials guarantees a long service life of the devices.

The hygienic design dosing devices are available as flat-bottom dosing devices with 12 or 22 mm screw diameters. They are suitable, among other things, for multiple dosing, e.g., on a pallet. The new flat-bottom dosing devices are also perfect for installation in containment solutions such as isolators or exhaust systems for "through-the-wall" installation. In these solutions, only the product-contacting and therefore absolutely necessary components of the dosing device remain inside the isolator, while the weighing cells, gears, motors, and cables stay outside the containment area. This greatly simplifies autoclaving and cleaning and reduces contamination risks multiple times. An explosion-proof version of the dosing devices (ATEX) is possible.
