The automation expert Pilz expands its product range of contactless, magnetic safety switches PSENmag with a stainless steel variant. The new version reliably monitors safety doors and positions in harsh industrial environments up to 120°C and impresses with its high durability. The robust stainless steel housing withstands extreme temperatures, shocks, or vibrations.

The stainless steel housing of the magnetic safety switch PSENmag offers a minimal surface area for deposits and is resistant to aggressive cleaning methods, such as sterilization with hot steam. Therefore, the robust switch from Pilz can be used in areas with heavy contamination and high cleaning requirements — ideal for the food industry, pharmaceutical production, or cosmetics manufacturing.

Durable and resistant

The stainless steel version PSENmag is available in two different configurations with cable or plug connection. This provides a quick, flexible installation. In applications under extreme temperatures, the cable version is heat- and cold-resistant for temperature ranges from -25 to 80°C. The plug version can be used up to 120°C. Thanks to its resistant housing, PSENmag as a stainless steel variant reliably monitors environments with explosive hazards. The magnetic safety switch is vibration- and shock-resistant and has a high B10D value (standard for lifespan). Its compact size makes it space-saving and easy to install. This allows users to benefit from high availability and minimized investment costs.

Easily diagnose faults

Thanks to additional feedback contacts with integrated LED, user-friendly diagnostics and quick troubleshooting are possible. In combination with Pilz's configurable safe small controllers PNOZmulti or safety relays PNOZsigma, users receive a safe and economical complete solution.
