Dauphin receives the AGR quality seal for industrial chairs as the first manufacturer

The Aktion Gesunder Rücken (AGR e.V.) has awarded the AGR quality seal to six industrial chairs from Dauphin HumanDesign Group after thorough examination. Dauphin is thus the first manufacturer to receive this renowned seal for industrial chairs. The quality seal, rated "Very Good" by the magazine "ÖKOTEST," is awarded by the association for back-friendly everyday products.

Six industrial chairs from the Tec Profile, Tec Dolphin, and Tec 24/7 model series are now allowed to bear the independent quality seal "tested & recommended" from AGR e.V. This makes Dauphin the first manufacturer of industrial chairs whose seating furniture for industrial workplaces has been recognized for back-friendly prevention by AGR e.V. The seal underscores the company's high level of investment and special commitment to developing ergonomic seating furniture and designing work environments for people across the entire operational setting.

With the certification of Dauphin's industrial chairs, seating furniture for production and assembly, as well as for healthcare, retail, and even laboratory and cleanroom environments, is now recognized as back-friendly everyday products for the first time. The chairs in the Tec Profile series are characterized by their robustness, ease of use, cleaning/hygiene, ergonomics, occupational safety, and flexibility regarding application areas and design. Features such as the shortened shape of the backrest in the shoulder area provide great freedom of movement for the upper body while offering meaningful support. The Tec Dolphin series models are designed as sit-stand chairs. They give users a secure feeling even in seated positions bent far forward or backward. The seat surface automatically adapts to the necessary pelvic tilt depending on the seat height, ensuring that the spine can automatically straighten itself. For the special demands of shift work at control stations or in monitoring rooms, the 24-hour chair Tec 7/24 has been certified by AGR. This work chair makes fatigue from prolonged sitting a thing of the past. It supports its users in dynamic sitting in various seating positions.

Recognized Quality Seal

The purpose of the AGR e.V. association is to promote research on the prevention of back pain. Furthermore, the association, supported by doctors and therapists, disseminates insights from these research efforts with the goal of contributing to the fight against the widespread ailment of back pain. The AGR e.V. quality seal is regarded as a reputable quality mark for ergonomic and orthopedic everyday aids. It was developed in collaboration with the two largest German back training associations, the "Federal Association of German Back Schools e.V." and the "Forum for a Healthy Back - Better Living e.V." Their experts also conduct the product tests. Only products that meet the strict testing criteria of the expert commission and provide ergonomic benefits receive the seal. For Dauphin industrial chairs, an independent review panel composed of six experts established criteria beforehand that the products had to meet from an interdisciplinary medical perspective. Based on these criteria, the awarded Dauphin chairs were tested and received an overall very good rating.
