It reduces the transmission of infections caused by germs in the office. Thus, the ergonomics-specialized manufacturer makes an intelligent contribution to the health of employees who share workstations or seating in the office. Furthermore, the finishing process, which has already been used for door fittings and handles in doctor's offices and clinics, is ideal for areas with high public traffic as well as areas with expected increased bacterial contamination, such as waiting rooms in practices or hygiene areas in hospitals, nursing and care homes, kindergartens, in the food industry, or laboratories.

Solutions for various application areas

Silver ions prevent the adhesion and cell division of microorganisms, so bacteria, for example, are permanently and effectively killed. To achieve this in office environments and other workplaces, Dauphin initially offers plastic components for the new "X-Code" office chair series and the "Previo" visitor chair series, with silver ions added as an additive. Additional chair models are planned to be equipped with this effective protection in the future.
