Dürr Ecoclean – faster expansion of global market and technology leadership

Through the successful realignment of the Dürr Ecoclean Group under the umbrella of the Dürr Group, the company has grown in recent years to become an international market and technology leader in the field of industrial cleaning technology. Now, various strategic options are being examined for the future orientation and further growth of Dürr Ecoclean. The goal is to strengthen the company's international presence and customer proximity, and to expand the range of applications and products.

"The diverse target groups of the Ecoclean business require different structures in development, production, sales, and marketing than those within the Dürr Group. Therefore, we see the possibility of a strategic partnership with another company or investor as a way to respond more flexibly to the demands of our markets and thereby accelerate our growth," explains Managing Director Michael Förster, who jointly leads the company with Frank Ringat.

The further global growth of the Ecoclean Group also requires the consolidation of the highly fragmented competitive environment. This can be achieved, for example, through acquisitions of relevant companies. "In the globally growing market for industrial cleaning technology, it is important to further expand our local presence. The goal is to strengthen our competitiveness and significantly increase the group's market share with innovative solutions tailored to the needs of different target groups in various countries. We are thus even closer to our existing and potential customers and can respond more quickly and targeted," is Frank Ringat convinced.

The Ecoclean Group includes ten locations in eight countries around the world with 825 employees. In 2015, it achieved a turnover of 200 million euros. Customers include the automotive industry and suppliers on one hand, and on the other, the highly diversified industrial market supplied with systems and equipment for component cleaning. With individually adapted technology from Dürr Ecoclean, customers unlock savings potentials, for example, in unit costs, energy consumption, and process duration.
