CWS acquires BERNET and expands its position in the Swiss market

The CWS-boco Switzerland SA, a company of the CWS Group, announced today the acquisition of BERNET Holding AG.

This acquisition is part of CWS's sustainable growth strategy and leads to a significant increase in market share in Switzerland. Thus, CWS continues to expand its international portfolio to provide customers with comprehensive excellent services.

BERNET is well established in the Swiss market as a reliable and proven provider of services in the fields of workwear, healthcare, and hygiene. The acquisition enables CWS to further expand its range of sustainable service solutions in these areas.

BERNET operates production and storage facilities in St. Gallen, Bronschhofen, and Lyssach. Especially Bronschhofen, with its modern laundry facility equipped with the latest technology, offers CWS high potential for further growth in Eastern Switzerland and ensures comprehensive service coverage throughout Switzerland.

Starting from January 1, 2023, CWS BERNET will undergo a 12-month integration process. The current owner of BERNET, Alexander Wild, will accompany the integration process.
