Cleanrooms require lighting solutions that meet stringent hygiene, safety and light quality standards while also adapting to different structural conditions. With the Fidesca G5, TRILUX has fundamentally further developed its cleanroom luminaire family. The new modular platform strategy offers a high degree of planning flexibility through numerous configuration options. In practice, the Fidesca G5 also impresses with its high quality of light and efficiency, as well as consistent construction and design principles. 

Whether in the pharmaceutical industry, microelectronics, hospitals or food production: cleanrooms are as diverse as their areas of application. The new platform strategy of the Fidesca G5 takes this diversity into account. The luminaire is available as a surface-mounted, recessed and lay-in solution in square and rectangular versions and various sizes. This means that the Fidesca G5 offers suitable solutions for a wide range of ceiling constructions, from grid and metal cassette ceilings to specific cleanroom ceilings with band or T-grid systems. For walkable ceilings, versions are also available that enable the luminaires to be serviced from the ceiling side, meaning that cleanroom status is not compromised.  The degree of protection and the material of the luminaire cover (plastic, laminated safety glass) can also be selected for each project. This wide range of variants not only ensures maximum planning flexibility for new buildings. It also provides the basis for efficient refurbishment, often even as a 1:1 replacement.

Efficiency and quality of light for demanding environments

The efficiency and quality of light are also impressive. With an efficiency of up to 172 lm/W and a service life of up to 100,000 h, the Fidesca G5 is an economically attractive solution. The lighting technology can be configured flexibly to ensure optimum visual conditions for each individual project. Four light distributions are available (wide-beam, Lambertian, narrow-beam and asymmetric wide-beam), as well as lumen packages ranging from 5,000 lm to 12,400 lm. On request, the luminaires are available with UGR < 19 and/or Ra > 90. In addition to white and Tunable White light colours, RGBW solutions and monochromatic spectra in red, yellow and green are also available for special applications. As connectivity is also becoming increasingly important in cleanrooms, the Fidesca G5 is additionally available as a dimmable version with lighting management capability (ETDD).  

Cleanroom-compatible design and easy installation

TRILUX has also optimised the installation process as part of the new development. New standardised installation logistics across all variants simplify the process, increase installation speed and reduce the error rate. The attractive, minimalist design with clear lines and smooth surfaces without dirt traps is consistently tailored to the requirements of cleanrooms.
