"With nora systems' inlay technology, there are no limits to imagination, as it opens up a variety of design possibilities," explains Dirk Oswald, Head of Product Management of the nora product lines. The experts at the nora inlay center produce complex motifs, lettering, or logos with the highest precision on state-of-the-art ultrasonic cutting machines. "Entire rooms can also be designed as a single large inlay. These so-called space inlays visually enhance the floor and help give rooms a distinctive identity," Oswald adds.

On the right track – with individual guiding systems and symbols

Wayfinding systems help guide people safely through an establishment. Whether for orientation in sprawling hospital corridors, zoning areas, or indicating escape routes – it is crucial that guiding systems are durable and universally understood by everyone. Through nora inlay technology, it is possible to adapt guiding systems to individual spatial conditions. "For example, contrast-colored stripes or symbols integrated into the flooring can help mark pathways through buildings or individual stations in hospitals," Oswald explains. And there are suitable solutions even in darkness: embedded luminous strips or lighting elements in the flooring or skirting boards ensure safety. In addition to the possibility of wayfinding systems, a selection of standardized symbol templates is available, which can be customized according to customer-specific wishes and integrated into the nora flooring.

More design freedom – through a modern plank concept

Also part of nora 4you is the expanded tile and plank concept: the nora range includes tiles and planks in various formats that can be combined. The noraplan product line offers a choice among six different sizes, and norament tiles are available in two different sizes. The individual installation patterns significantly influence the ambiance, giving the room a unique character.

Individual accents – through special colors

In addition to the standard flooring program with over 300 colors in various shades, the company also develops custom special colors for a project based on color samples or color codes upon request. The desired shades can be produced based on all common color coding systems such as NCS, RAL, or Pantone.
