CiK Solutions expands its product portfolio in the laboratory and sample storage sector with the cryogenic freezing solution ARCTIKO CRYO, an innovative freezer series with storage temperatures down to -150 °C. Designed for the highest demands in biobanking, cell line research, and long-term preservation of biological samples, it enables extremely safe and reliable storage – entirely without liquid nitrogen.

Long-term storage at -150 °C is considered a proven standard for preserving sensitive cell materials, especially when avoiding LN₂-systems for safety or cost reasons. The purely electrically operated freezing systems offer a constant temperature control with only ±3 °C deviation – ideal for decades-long storage of sensitive samples.

Thanks to the integrated TRUE DUAL™ technology with two independent cooling units, maximum operational safety is guaranteed. Even if one unit fails, the function remains – a crucial advantage for research, pharmaceuticals, and biobanking.

Compared to traditional nitrogen tanks, the ARCTIKO systems eliminate the need for refilling and maintenance entirely. Users benefit from precise digital control, low energy consumption starting at 33 kWh per day, and optional remote monitoring. The devices are factory-prepared for LN₂-backup and available in various sizes as cabinets or freezers – designed for maximum efficiency with low operating costs.
