Confidently attend the AM Expo and Swiss Medtech Expo

From September 14 to 15, 2021, the AM Expo and the Swiss Medtech Expo will take place at the Lucerne Fairgrounds. With 240 exhibitors and around 100 lectures in the Innovation Symposium, the two trade fairs offer a wealth of information and inspiration. To protect the health of all participants, entry is only permitted with a valid Covid certificate.

For the first time in nearly two years, it is possible to gather in person to learn about professional 3D printing and medical technology. The two trade fairs, AM Expo and Swiss Medtech Expo, will be held simultaneously from September 14 to 15, 2021, at the Lucerne Fairgrounds. According to project manager Sara Bussmann, a major advantage is: "The two fields have several parallels. We are convinced that this will provide added value for exhibitors and visitors alike."

At AM Expo, the focus is on the careful use of resources. Around 80 exhibitors will present exciting solutions to minimize material consumption, make designs lighter, or innovate product design. The Swiss Medtech Expo will focus on "personalized medicine" and related topics such as "digitalization and miniaturization" or "smart design and engineering." Additionally, in the two Innovation Symposia, exhibitors will present their most exciting products and solutions in around 100 short presentations, and keynote speakers will share insights directly from science, technology, and manufacturing.

Entry with Covid Certificate

To ensure the safety of all visitors, exhibitors, and staff at all times, a safety concept is in place for the AM Expo and Swiss Medtech Expo. This stipulates that access to the fairs is limited to vaccinated, tested, or recovered individuals. They must present a valid Covid certificate and an ID. As a result, there will be no further restrictions within the exhibition halls.

At the entrance control, visitors have the option to get tested before attending the fair. Testing capacity is limited. Lucerne Fairgrounds therefore recommends that individuals without a Covid certificate get tested in advance and arrive with a valid certificate. You don't have to wait until mid-September to visit the AM Expo and Swiss Medtech Expo. On the two trade fair websites, visitors can already get to know the exhibitors, their specific projects, and the lecture program. "Visiting the websites is highly worthwhile to get an overview of the fairs and to discover concrete solutions for current questions or challenges," explains Sara Bussmann.
