Technical cleanliness at the highest level for high purity tasks – the designers of LPW Cleaning Systems GmbH have developed a modular plant concept for fine and ultra-fine cleaning that meets the high requirements for process control and final results at all levels. At the parts2clean 2021 in Stuttgart, the Riederspecialists will present their new PowerJet ULTRA for the first time.

The system features, in addition to the well-known cleaning methods ultrasound and cyclic nucleation, the necessary drying for higher demands. In the standard version, the PowerJet ULTRA is designed as a single-chamber system (batch size 670 x 480 x 300 mm) with three substrate tanks. In the upgrade stages, it can have up to three treatment chambers and up to seven substrate tanks. The concept serves as a technology carrier for various wet chemical cleaning and rinsing processes and includes environment-air-free drying systems and optionally integrated VE or ultrapure water supply.

The media flows can be monitored with a variety of application-specific sensors, thus creating a key component for industry-relevant validation processes. Furthermore, an interface to an online service, remote maintenance systems, a cloud-based LPW dashboard, as well as continuous batch-related process data security and evaluation are always possible.

The plant system can be connected directly to a cleanroom (up to ISO 5) via an input automation with adapted laminar flow units or installed as an integral part of the cleanroom. In the second case, the "dirty" maintenance section is located outside the conditioned working environment in the gray area.

In addition to traditional high purity sectors such as vacuum/laser technology, optical industry, or medical technology, the PowerJet ULTRA is also used in other industries. For example, in the automotive industry, which faces new requirements in areas such as e-mobility, fuel cells, or sensor technology, as well as in the broad field of new coating and manufacturing processes (e.g., 3D printing).

The new concept from the Riederspecialists in cleaning can be visited not only at the trade fair but also as part of the integrated cleanroom-based LPW testing and service center at the company site.
