Concept Heidelberg GmbH expands location in Heidelberg

Concept Heidelberg, Europe's largest seminar and conference organizer for pharmaceutical production and quality assurance, is expanding with additional office space at the Heidelberg location. The extension will add approximately 800 sqm of office space to the existing building. In total, around 2000 sqm of office space will then be available. Initial construction work has begun. Completion is targeted for spring 2023.

The additional space will be designed with the same high quality as the existing building and aims to create a pleasant working environment. With lots of glass and wood, the offices will be modernly designed. All offices will be air-conditioned. A lounge on the top floor for all employees will promote communication and exchange. Additionally, a photovoltaic system is planned to store and provide electricity for electric and hybrid vehicles.

The company is responding to strong growth with the expansion. While many providers in the event industry faced problems during the Covid-19 pandemic, Concept Heidelberg was able to significantly expand its business. In addition to events in 10 European countries, the online event business has become the company's second major pillar. In just two years, a comprehensive online seminar and conference program has been developed, which is unique in Europe.

Online events are conducted live and moderated by the department heads (pharmacists, chemists, and microbiologists) from Concept Heidelberg. Specialists from industry and authorities worldwide are also involved. Through lectures and discussions, the complex regulatory and technical requirements for pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality assurance can be presented. In addition to live online events, Concept Heidelberg also offers "on demand" solutions. A database with over 1,000 hours of video material has been created. E-learning courses, which conclude with exams and certification, are also continuously being developed.
