For this extension, the existing piston and connecting rod pre-assembly had to be replaced with a semi-automated system.

The new system now guarantees an optimal process flow for both six-cylinder and twelve-cylinder engines. The operation of the system is carried out in sequences, at both manual workstations without waiting time for the operator. The protective area consists of an aluminum profile construction with a pneumatic lift door and a two-part folding door that extends across the entire length of the system. Safety and process efficiency are maximized.
