The Vaisala HUMICAP® Humidity and Temperature Handheld Device HM40 is now available in both standard version with integrated probe and with a cable probe. The cable option makes the handheld device even more versatile, as it allows measurements to be taken conveniently in ducts and other hard-to-reach or confined areas.

Thanks to features such as the replaceable sensor HMP113, the Vaisala HM40 is the ideal tool for mobile spot measurements at various locations—from construction sites and HVAC applications to laboratories and cleanrooms.

Compact, simple, and easy to use—the Vaisala HM40 provides reliable measurement results in different environmental conditions. Its humidity measurement is based on the same Vaisala HUMICAP® sensor technology, which recently landed on Mars aboard the Curiosity Rover—a testament to the sensor's excellent performance in terms of long-term stability and chemical resilience.

In addition to a wide measurement range for relative humidity and temperature, the Vaisala HUMICAP® Humidity and Temperature Handheld Device HM40 offers five additional derived humidity parameters. Its user interface provides a selection of ten languages and the ability to customize settings. At the same time, it is designed to be as simple and intuitive as possible. A large graphical display and robust push buttons enhance user-friendliness and enable easy operation of the device in any position.
