The Color Atelier Space for Color is a collaboration between the Color Atelier Schleicher and the Interior Design Office Space for Color, based in Karlsruhe. The Color Atelier Schleicher was founded in 1980 by Alfred Schleicher (dipl. Color Consultant/Designer IACC), who was also a member of VIP3000 for more than 10 years.

Space for Color was founded in 2013 by the certified interior architect and color designer (IACC) Cordula Bahm.

After several years of project-based collaboration, Ms. Bahm took over the areas of cleanroom and workplace design from the Color Atelier Schleicher. Mr. Schleicher has withdrawn from operational business.

What does "Color Design" mean?

Professional color design involves knowing the physical and psychological effects of color on humans and analyzing a project without subjective, preconceived opinions, in order to then plan specifically for the respective user.

The term "Cleanroom Design" usually refers to the functional arrangement of equipment in the cleanroom. As color designers, we see our task as composing a meaningful color concept for the visual phenomenon of cleanroom design.

Color is the language of form. It serves to distinguish, orient, evoke feelings and associations.
