Coating readiness cleanliness – process-safe and efficient
- Solutions for Clean Parts and Surfaces
- Bilingual Industry Forum – Cleaning Knowledge for Process Optimization
The number of components that receive their functional and decorative properties through coatings is constantly increasing. The requirements for surfaces are also rising – not only in coating but also in other processes such as laser welding or bonding. "The task of parts and surface cleaning is to ensure the cleanliness required for coating and joining processes. With its exhibitors, this year's parts2clean offers a solution range like never before," explains Olaf Daebler, Managing Director of the international leading trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning at Deutsche Messe AG. Parallel to parts2clean, this year from June 24 to 26, the O&S, an international trade fair for surfaces and coatings, will be held at the exhibition grounds in Stuttgart. "Visitors thus have the opportunity to learn about innovations and trends in these areas of surface technology through a trade fair visit."
Numerous new and further developments in all areas
The exhibitors present products and services along the entire process chain. Whether it’s about more stable cleaning processes, shorter treatment times, higher energy or resource efficiency, flexibility in cleaning, cleanliness control and documentation, or maintaining achieved cleanliness – parts2clean offers the right solution. Visitors can expect a variety of new and further developments in all exhibition areas. For example, a completely new plant concept for water-based media in wet chemical cleaning is being introduced, which can be used from rough to fine cleaning. An addition to this is the new developments in cleaning media. An innovative tool for measuring ultrasonic power will also be on display. For process automation, the exhibitors have robots and handling systems in their luggage. Solutions for process-safe and economical deburring are also present at parts2clean. In the area of cleaning containers and workpiece carriers, new and further developments help to shorten process times, optimize results, and reduce costs. This is achieved not least because they are flexible to use and minimize costly and damaging handling processes of the parts. Systems for partial cleaning of surfaces before coatings and other subsequent processes are also presented, including CO2 snow jet and laser beam cleaning systems. When it comes to controlling and documenting the cleanliness achieved during the cleaning process, new solutions will be seen at parts2clean for both particulate and film measurements. Bath monitoring and maintenance contribute to stable processes, especially when cleaning with aqueous media. New and further developed devices, such as for continuous concentration measurement in liquids, will also be presented. Corrosion protection, preservation, and packaging – new products for these tasks will also be introduced at parts2clean.
Bilingual Industry Forum – Cleaning Knowledge for Process Optimization
The three-day industry forum parts2clean has established itself as an internationally sought-after knowledge source for industrial parts and surface cleaning. The program, coordinated professionally by the Fraunhofer Alliance for Cleaning Technology, includes a total of 29 lectures (simultaneously translated German <> English) covering the following topics: process and procedure knowledge; cleaning processes, pretreatment, and coating; deburring with the right process according to requirements; efficient and economical cleaning methods, as well as methodology for particle contamination. Organized by the Professional Association for Industrial Parts Cleaning (FiT), the quality podium discusses process chain analysis as a solution approach to error prevention. Participation in the parts2clean industry forum is free of charge for visitors.
Parallel to parts2clean, from June 24 to 26, 2014, the LASYS, an international trade fair for laser material processing, and the AUTOMOTIVE Expo will also be held at the Stuttgart exhibition grounds.
