Call for Papers: Starting April 29, 2013

Higher efficiency, greater purity, stricter standards: worldwide, the requirements for manufacturing, products, and services are increasing. As a result, cleanroom solutions are becoming indispensable in more and more industries and application areas. At the same time, the dynamics in which the demanded cross-sectional technology is evolving continue to accelerate. The second Cleanzone Congress specifically addresses current developments and presents groundbreaking thematic focuses on October 22 and 23, 2013. This appeals to experts and users of cleanrooms across disciplines and on an international level.

In Frankfurt, visitors can expect a program that comprehensively covers both cross-industry trends and specialized technical fields. In 2013, the organizers focus on the topics of Energy Efficiency, Cleanrooms & Hospitals, Nanotechnology & Measurement, Facility Management & Cleanroom Systems, and Surface Cleanliness. Another emphasis is on questions related to the areas of Future of Cleanroom Technology, Cleanroom Testing & Monitoring, Standardization, Sales, and Services.

The demanding Cleanzone Congress includes a total of twelve high-caliber lectures, which, as in the previous year, take place simultaneously and in the same location as the trade fair. "I welcome the well-thought-out concept of Cleanzone with its balanced combination of congress program and trade fair. It offers visitors a practical mix of current knowledge, substantial lectures, and in-depth discussions on relevant topics in our industry – as well as a good overview of specific providers, solutions, and products," says jury member Arnold Brunner, Dipl. Ing. SIA, full-time lecturer in Building Technology at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

International Expert Jury

Brunner is participating anew this year in the international expert jury of the congress. In their advisory capacity, the jury members uphold the high scientific standards of the program. The members for 2013 are:

- Frank Duvernell (ReinraumAkademie, Leipzig),
- Prof. Gernod Dittel (Dittel Engineering, Kochel/Ried),
- Conor Murray (Irish Cleanrooms Society/ICS, Dublin, Ireland), and
- Dipl.-Phys. Thomas Wollstein (Association of German Engineers/VDI, Düsseldorf).

Kickoff for Call for Papers

Starting April 29, 2013, the internationally oriented Call for Papers will be launched. Experts from around the world are invited to submit proposals on the congress themes. The papers, studies, or best practice presentations should meet scientific standards, convey innovations, and be written in German or English. Submissions at: www.cleanzone.messefrankfurt.com

Cleanzone in Frankfurt

Cleanzone is the new international and cross-industry trade meeting for cleanroom technology. The organizer is Messe Frankfurt, with the Reinraum Akademie Leipzig acting as marketing and content partner. The debut in October 2012 attracted participants from 13 countries to Frankfurt. The trade fair and congress received excellent reviews: 89 percent of visitors and 84 percent of exhibitors were satisfied to very satisfied with the premiere. Forty-six percent of visitors came from top management, and 88 percent stated they influence purchasing and procurement decisions in their companies.

In its second year, both the trade fair and congress aim to expand further internationally and thematically. The next Cleanzone will take place on October 22 and 23, 2013, in Hall 1.1 of the Frankfurt exhibition grounds, parallel to CPhI, the world's leading trade fair for pharmaceutical active ingredients.
