Cleanzone 2016: Registration process successfully started

The next Cleanzone will open its doors on November 8 and 9, 2016, in Frankfurt am Main. Providers of products and services for clean and sterile rooms can register for the international trade fair with congress since February. Ruth Lorenz, Head of Technology & Production at Messe Frankfurt, is pleased with the strong demand: "Due to the numerous registrations and the great interest from the industry, we expect Cleanzone 2016 to continue its growth trajectory. The positive development of the trade fair is primarily related to the fact that the number of pure production areas worldwide is steadily increasing."

At the last Cleanzone, 88 exhibitors from 12 countries presented their innovations to 731 trade visitors from 32 countries. The fact that the trade fair was very well received in the market in 2015 was demonstrated by the high satisfaction levels of exhibitors (83%) and visitors (91%).

The product range of Cleanzone covers the entire lifecycle of a cleanroom - from planning and layout to construction and operation. Manufacturers showcase building materials, climate and ventilation technology, airlocks, consumables, cleanroom clothing, measurement and control technology, monitoring software, as well as training and further education offers. The trade fair is aimed at all areas where production or work takes place under controlled conditions, from hospitals, pharmacies, food and pharmaceutical industries to medical technology, semiconductor and laser manufacturing, and up to the automotive and watch industries. In fall 2016, the industrial trade fair will again occupy Hall 4.0.

From Clean to Ultra-Clean and Reinstaroom

Production under controlled conditions in microtechnology involves various levels of cleanliness: Particles up to 600 micrometers are detected in the cleanroom, while in the cleanroom, even particles smaller than one micrometer can cause production failures. To further increase computing power, researchers are working intensively on ever-smaller structures. For the cleanroom, this means that increasingly tiny parts, far into the nanometer range, must be detected and eliminated. In life sciences, the primary focus is on identifying and killing pathogenic germs. Ruth Lorenz explains: "The offerings of Cleanzone are aimed at all manufacturers who need to control particles or germs, regardless of their size. Visitors can thus optimally inform themselves at the fair about which level of cleanliness best suits their product."
