Cleanroom lights now also with certification for Class A and B

Unique worldwide: Seven series lights from Fischer Elektro- und Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH are suitable for cleanrooms, including Class A and B according to GMP.

The products from the Fraunhofer Institute in airborne particle emission measurements are classified in the highest class 1 according to ISO 14644-1 in the air cleanliness classes.

The Fischer Elektro- und Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH has further improved its certified, cleanroom-compatible luminaires and had them re-certified by the Fraunhofer Institute. As the only company worldwide, they are now demonstrably suitable for use in cleanrooms according to GMP Class A and B as well as ISO Class 1. The excellent workmanship and hygienic design earned top marks "1" in all tests and demonstrate the manufacturer's innovative strength. Fischer has invested heavily in establishing a fully automated processing center. Two robots ensure seamless safety in manufacturing.

"We have closed the gap for the cleanroom suitability of our luminaires," explains Friedrich Fischer. And this is meant in both senses by the founder and managing director of Fischer Elektro- und Beleuchtungstechnik GmbH. After three additional luminaires received top marks "1" during re-certifications by the Fraunhofer Institute, all seven products are now cleanroom-compatible, even for cleanrooms of Class A and B.
Test results in January 2013 are unique

Following rigorous testing by the Fraunhofer Institute, Fischer received the final certification for GMP A (external area) and GMP B in January 2013. In emission measurements of airborne particles, the manufacturer's products are classified in the highest class 1 according to air cleanliness standards EHEDG, ISO 14644-1, and DIN 1672-2. This is unique worldwide.

These results were achieved, among other things, through very small gaps. This was made possible by a newly built, fully automated processing and assembly center with significant effort. Using two robots, luminaires are produced with minimal manufacturing tolerances, ensuring process safety and repeatability. Furthermore, Fischer uses a new, certified antibacterial sealing and adhesive compound as well as a powder coating that does not outgas. With the cleanroom certificates from the Fraunhofer Institute IPA in Stuttgart, Fischer can offer its customers in cleanroom construction as well as users in pharmaceuticals, food, and microsystems technology the highest tested safety.
